Albacare is a well-established and organised provider of Occupational Health Services and First Aid training in Scotland.

Managing Director
Gary Hickman
Gary Hickman Ba. Is our Managing Director, Gary has nearly 2 decades of experience across Occupational Health and Training.
Gary values the people around him over any personal attribute he has and credits them with the continued success of Albacare. Gary is happiest with an audience and loves to share is knowledge and diverse experience.
Gary firmly believes that Albacare is a family not a workplace.
Director
Stefan Hickman
Stefan Hickman, BA, is responsible for the First Aid, Mental Health and Midas training services as well as Defibrillator packages provided by Albacare.
Stefan has a huge wealth of experience training and providing first aid treatment in a wide spectrum of situations.
Stefan brings the experience to bear as the co-ordinator for Bathgate First Responders. Where Stefan is a trustee and responders who is part of a team that responds to 999 calls at the same time as the Scottish Ambulance Service.

General Manager
Theresa Dinnes
Theresa Dinnes is our General Manager and has been with Albacare for over 16 years. Theresa is responsible for the day to day operations of Albacare and it’s employees.
She works hard at building and maintaining relationships with our customers and clients, ensuring we always deliver high quality services.
Theresa is also very passionate about the wellbeing of our Albacare family, in and out of work.
Occupational Health Services Manager
Sheila Hammond
Sheila Hammond, BSc, RGN,RM is our Clinical Nurse Manager. Sheila ensures compliance of regulations for both staff and customers.
She meets with perspective customers to identify their requirements and keeps our current clients appraised of any issues arising from monitoring or clinics.
With over 40 years’ experience in Nursing, Sheila has a wealth of OH knowledge from working in the industry since 1990.

- To see more people surviving cardiac arrest as a result of well-trained First Aiders responding with Automated External Defibrillators quickly and effectively.
- To help work places reduce the risk of fire in the work place & help put in place a rigorous evacuation process that sees everyone removed quickly and effectively to a place of safety.
