Audiometry Training Course
The Audiometry Training Course is a nationally recognised course provides competence based training and assessment for Occupational Health Professionals. It is designed to meet the definitions of competency as defined in the Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005.
Aim of the Audiometry Training course

To provide delegates with the knowledge to carry our screening audiometry, categorise and evaluate results. |

To introduce delegates to the principles of hearing conservation in the workplace. |

To provide an overview of the Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005 |

Venue and Mode of Delivery
Audiometry Training Courses are held in Bathgate, Glasgow, Manchester and Belfast.
The duration of the course is 3 full days.
A practical and written assessment will take place on day three and successful delegates will receive a Certificate of Competence.
The course syllabus is approved by "The British Society of Audiology".
